Start your journey with a timely pick-up from either the Fez airport or the agreed location. You will board a comfortable private vehicle to head south, crossing the enchanting Middle Atlas Mountains. Your first stop will be Ifrane, nicknamed the “Switzerland of Morocco”, where you will enjoy its breathtaking natural scenery.

The journey will continue to Ifrane National Park, known for its towering cedar trees and playful Barbary macaques. After crossing the Middle Atlas, the landscape will become drier, indicating that you are approaching the desert. On your way to Erfoud, you will learn about Morocco’s rich geological history, marked by its diverse fossils.

Finally, you will arrive in Merzouga, where you will begin an unforgettable experience: a camel ride through the famous Erg Chebbi dunes. After sunset, you will enjoy a traditional dinner under a starry sky, and spend the night in comfortable Berber tents in the middle of the desert.

Wake up to a spectacular sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes, a sight that will leave you in awe. After a delicious breakfast, you will head to Khamlia, known as “the village of the blacks”, where you will experience Gnawa music, a UNESCO cultural heritage site.

You will then embark on an exciting tour along the tracks that were once used in the Paris-Dakar rally, passing ancient settlements and khol mines. You will also have the opportunity to meet a community of desert nomads and learn about their way of life in this inhospitable environment.

Return to your camp in Merzouga to enjoy another night under the dazzling starry sky.

Your third day begins with a nutritious breakfast in the desert. Afterwards, you will begin the journey back to Fez along the same route you took upon arrival, but with shorter stops. Upon arrival in Fez, you will have the afternoon free to explore this historic city at your own pace.

The final day begins with a delicious breakfast at your riad before a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed medina of Fez. With a local guide, you'll discover iconic sites such as the University of Karaouine and the vibrant tanners' quarter.
